Virgin Media cable

Hi,

i currently have 50mb virgin media setup in the front living room and would like to move it up stairs.

Is it possible to buy the white cable they use to connect to the superhub?
How long could the cable be before performance was affected?

nope

i've got 3 ethernet cables running from the point in the bedroom. So need the hub up there.

I did use another router and just had the superhub set as a modem, but i was getting really bad speeds.

the swtich isn't something i've looked at, the trouble i will also have is i need the wifi part also moving to the bedroom as my phones wont reach to the superhub at the moment.

cheers for all the info guys.
Having already got an ethernet cable in the right place i'll set the superhub to modem. Buy a good quality router and hope it doesn't slow down my internet like the current netgear one i own.
