Anyone else had a loss of service last night? bang on midnight it went down for 10mins exactly and came back with a new IP.

Happened to me last night (South Wales) but was 12:30, came back for 10 mins then went off again, had to reboot the Cable Modem first thing this morning to restore service, then it got a new IP Address.

Im on the 350 Service.

If you don't mind me asking, how much are you paying for the 500 Mbit broadband and is it part of a package.

I have a package with 200 Mbs but thinking of upgrading the BB element but don't want all the extra TV they bundle with the 500

I was on Ooomph but I don't think I ever watched anything on the the TIVO boxes, I downgraded to M500 + free SIM and I pay £43.

SuperHub 4 arrived yesterday. Certaainly a beast for what it is. Wacked it in modem mode.

Took a few reboots of the sh4 to get it stable and now pfsense connects fine. I used port 4, but I think any port works.

Can you access the Hub4 page 192.168.100.1?

I run pfsense my local ip range is 10.100.2.# and I can't, I could get to the Hub3 ok.

Anyone else getting spammed to death recently by Indian CcS saying there’s an issue with your connection? Assume it’s due to people WFH hence the targeting

Yep your right. I cannot access it. I could access sh3 like you.

Weird. Guess only way is to plug in locally to the sh4. Or add a route of some sort on pfsense.

I tried to figure it out, there must be a way. Weirdly if I set up a continuous ping I will get a reply every minute or so. Please let me know if you find a way.

no problem, il give it a go

Out of interest, 1Gb is available to us now and just been on chat and its normally £62 per month (for just broadband) and they are offering it to me at £59 per month

i was looking at closer to £50, has anyone got the 1Gb service discounted? seems loyalty doesn't mean nothing these days

They wouldn't give me any discount at all. Since upgrading all I've had is problems, either down completely or routing problems where I can only access half of the internet.

Oh that doesnt sound too good.

I've just tried again via Chat and they seem to log all the chats now. They won't budge from what ever the last person said.

Il have to have a think before committing.
