Hey Guys,

Heres the issue. Im normally on teamspeak chatting to some mates and just recently im suffering crazy packet loss, so it sounds like im lagging like a nutter (Same thing happens with ventrillo). My ping is always low just the loss is high.

Anyway: I went on virgin medias help site to see if there was anything i can try, i decided to try "Tracert". In all honesty I didnt really see what this was going to acheive or show. Im not that clued up on these things.

So i went ahead and ran tracert on one of there sites that they specified, ill just show you guys the results.

Basically, im looking for what the issue could be so then i can phone them up and give them a little grilling.

Well the last IP before the timeouts is a blueyonder IP thus it's probably safe to assume the issue is on VM's network.
 
Seems to over cleared up "For Now".

Cheers for the info, if the issue continues ill have to phone them :)
 
There isn't a lot of point pinging things between you and the destination - a lot of hardware is set not to respond to ICMP Echo Requests and most process them at a much lower priority than real traffic.
