i signed up to the 20meg broadband service with virgin and it got activated on Thursday 31st.

download: 0.25
upload: 0.61

i rang virgin and they said i would have slow internet sometimes and quick at others. as they are running tests to find my stable speed. but it cant take this long, can it? i have been monitoring this over the course of the day everyday and it doesnt seem to be faster. if anything its slower.

any ideas on what i should do.

eg. turn router off
ring virgin up and complain....

internet browsing and facebook are real slow at time. you see it more when loading aps on facebook. havent downloaded anything but adobe flashplayer took a good 15-20 mins download. well its running through a standard bt box so i would say ADSL, please correct me if im wrong

but surely i shouldn't be getting download speeds of 0.25. a friend told my that they told him after 10 days his internet speed will be running at an average speed. so i think im going wait till then and then ring them again see what's going on
