Getting really peeved with Virgin. Moved house, told Virgin we were doing this and require migration of their ADSL 8MB package. Two days before we moved they emailed saying they have refused our *new* broadband package - had to remind them we were merely transfering the package.

Next they said it would take 8 days to get it working, another deparment said 3-5 days. It has been over just a week and weekend just gone they asked for our new phone number - which we gave them already. Now they say it will take another week to activate it. Two weeks, is this normal for other companies? Anything we can do? They claim we won't be paying for these two weeks but I bet they will and we will have to spend ages arguing thhat we don't! Virgin are soo deadful, have being tell my mum for 3 years to get rid of them and she agrees but never actaully does it!
 
new phone number ?? u shudnt have a new 1 u shud still have old 1 unless u just got a phone line .....

ring emm up .. say you moved house today ,give emm the account number off an old bill

and u want it transferring ... they shud ask u yur new address ... ask u if the cable box and wires are in or if u need an engineer .... bt sod it say u think the cable is broken get them to send 1 out ... take 2 days ..... when he comes say i moved house bt my net not working ..... he will phone main switch board and bang it on there and then ,, the silly support pple are useless ... oh and check to see if u been on time with your bills there really funny now if your a day late
