Virgin superhub question

hi, I'm a student and new to setting up my own network. As im a very last minute person I've just started my VM contract but it says 14 days until my superhub is delivered (my own lazy fault) i need my network up and running from like monday the 14th so im wondering if i buy a second hand superhub will it work? or does it have to be my own?

No it wont work. Its registered to another person and their account. Also you can't get 2nd hand as you don't ever own ur superhub you lease it and vm ask for it back as soon as you end ur contract.

So if someone is selling it they are not allowed to.

As above, you can’t legally buy something that the seller doesn’t own and it won’t work unless the equipment is registered to an account and that account has an active service. Most people wouldn’t sell a hub they are still paying the provider to have active service on.
