virgin trouble

quick question... does anyone on virgin suffer from erratic disconnections? for instance mine would work fine then all of a sudden my explorers would stop workin but my bittorrent would continue. i always have to restart to fix this problem. any suggestions lads??

to be honest most bit torrents tend to use up all the bandwidth! try limiting your upload speed a bit!

il not use it for a day and see if it still does it, its very annoying and hate havin to phone india for support from guys i can hardly understand

I've suffered erratic disconnections ever since we had the flooding in glos, it was fine before that. Got an engineer coming out on wednesday to have a look.

ive been having the same problems tbh, everytime it disconnects i have to take the power out of both the modem and router, wait for 5 mins then plug it all back in. Im still using the same modem from when we had a 300k connection ages ago, may need to get a new modem.

i wrote them a email complaining so i can expect a reply by christmas from them
