Get a V+ box and you can keep your current box for £5 a month. It's £75 to have V+ installed. (for the OP who thinks Virgin cable comes down an ariel - V+ is like Sky+)
However if you ask nicely they will give you a discount. They took £10 off our bill for having V+ and we got to keep the second box for gratis. Add to this we get XL TV, 10MB broadband and XL phone for £35 a month and you get a good deal.
So OP if you want a second box (I.e. multi room) get on the phone and do a deal.
Some people have had the V+ install reduced to £30 (it should be £150)

It either doesn't have a card or doesn't work at all without one. Unlike Sky.
Sky dosnt work without a card.. All you get is "please insert viewing card"
Oh infact, thats what used to happen, not any more, it works without a card now
