Virtual Directory software

anyone know of any software, preferably free, that allows you to combine the contents of multiple directories on different drives under one directory. I would like the virtual directory software to show the file structure within each directory but as if it is all in one directory.

I assume Windows? If so look up 'DFS' and in Win7 also look at 'Library'. See if either of those are what you are after.

I had tried libraries but had not turned off grouping, i just took another look at it after you said and turned off grouping and that does what i wanted.
