virtual drive

i need to install a virtual drive but last time i done so it played havvock with playing my games and wouldnt let me play,games like crysis see the drive as if its copied game.
is there anyway to install with causing this problem?
if so which is best one to use

can you just unmount and turn off the virtual drive software when you are playing games that do this.

done that before, even i closed and shut it down unmounted whatever it still stopped my game working, said something along the lines "please insert orginal disc"

I have, but turning it off (as in closing) seams to solve the problem.

IIRC, Alcohol 120% has an "advanced install" - change the names of the buses everything is good. this was a while ago - no idea if it's still the case.

ok deamon tools seems to be working. i checked and it was ultra vso that was causing all my problems last time. everything ok so far tho cheers guys
