Virtual Pet games for the PC

Does anyone know of a decent virtual pet game-type-thing for the PC, preferably for ages 3-7 (or thereabouts) so no Virtual Dog Stud Farm III recommendations.

I have already considered Dogz and Catz, just wondered if there was something like EyePet out there for the PC...
