I've got my XP Home system up and running nicely and want to fiddle with Ubuntu (downloaded the latest last week!)...
I've installed VirtualBox as dual booting would only confuse the missus so I thought I'd do it virtually so she don't even get the choice... Its Windows for her only...
However when I try and install Ubuntu on a 10Gb Virtual Partition, it gets to the Partition Manager bit and throws a wobbler and says it can't create the 'Swap' partition...
I was under the impression that Ubuntu only needed 3-4Gb for the OS/Root (if I install everything) and 256Mb-1Gb for Swap.. So a 10Gb 'Free Space' virtual Partition should do it!...
Do I need to create 2 Virtual Partitions in VBox before installing so the Root goes on one and the Swap on the other or am I missing summut!?!...
Everything runs well (if a little slow) from the 'Live CD' bit
Cheers Sim.
