Evening All,
I've been playing around with VirtualBox of late on an old machine to test some software. I've got four network cards in it, including the onboard card.
The host is XP Pro, with an XP Guest. However, I also plan to experiment with IPcop and such like. I'd ideally like to assign my Virtual Machine, and the host, Static IP Addresses. I've given myself some headroom outside of my routers' DHCP pool, with this in mind.
Should I assign the network addresses I want via the host OS and attach the adaptors to the machine. Or, allow DHCP to assign IP addresses to each connection and then assign the IP addresses within the host OS.
Many thanks in advance.
