Virus? Help please firewall.exe

Hey,

I need a bit of help.

I found the process firewall.exe and it looks kind of suspect. I have googled and they have said that it could be a worm... though I virus scanned with an online scanner and with AVG and it says the file is clean?

Its located in windows/system32. I removed the reg entry that allows it to start with windows... oddly, the file is only 416KB and says it was created on the 18th of june, and modified on the 04th of june?

Any thoughts??

Have you tried running Adaware and any other adware tools? They sometimes pick up these things

Hmmm probablly should have mentioned that I run adaware and it found nothing.

I have removed firewall.exe from my windows folder, and stuck it zipped in a folder on my desktop... I just dont trust it TBH. Sygate seems to be running perfectly, and windows has no error messages, so at worst I have just stopped an un-needed process loading,

anyone that knows for sure if this program is good or bad let me know
