Hello, so this is sort of a question as well as advice and also I'm not tech savy so please understand this is only basic knowledge. So basically I caught i virus on my pc the other day and my anti virus caught it but I did not feel like it was the only one so I went and got my USB flash drive and went into the boot menu to reinstall a fresh copy of windows deleting everything, basically nuked it. I have heard scare story's though that some viruses can imbed themselves into your recovery partition or bios. I know the bios one is rare because it has to match the specs of the hardware it infects but the recovery partition is the one that concerns me. When choosing what drive and partition I wanted to reinstall windows I deleted every partition that the pc would let me only leaving the blank drives which I could install windows on.
My question is does the recovery partition get deleted when you delete all the partitions in the reinstall menu, Or is it something I cant touch?
