Vista 5.9 hard drive pleases

Can I ask....why? Which hard drive do you have now? Do you purely want a new drive to get a higher score? If thats the case, there really isn't any point.

SE16 & Raptors will both get to 5.9. I'm quite sure a 7200.10 drive would do the same though and if not one drive, then a pair will do the job nicely.

Close. A pair in RAID0 would get you to 5.9 then but not sure what is required to get bang on 6.0.

You can't until MS update it. 5.9 is the maximum for any component.

Anybody managed to get 5.9 in all scores yet?

<rant>What is it with people and the "e-penis" comments round here lately?

It's an enthusiasts forum mainly made up of people that like to get the best out of their PCs as a hobby... If you use the phrase because you believe somehow that your PC is some kind of replacement for other inadequecies then fine, how about letting everyone else who enjoys just tinkering with h/w & s/w get on with it though.

It's not big and it's not clever</rant>
