Vista 64bit and RAID 5 issue's

Hi all,

I have a DFI Lanpart NF4 UT SLI-DR motherboard with both Silicon Image 3114 Raid adapter, I have installed 2 74gb drives in a Raid 0 and installed Vista 64 bit on them and then installed 3 200gb Hard disk drives (2 SATA 1 PATA) and set them up as RAID 5, When i boot the Raid adapters bios see's the RAID 5 setup but for some reason Windows Vista won't, It only see's 2 of the drives in computer management.

Any idea's? do i need to install some sort of RAid 5 program in windows?

Have you installed the drivers for the SI card?

As far as i am aware i have installed the drivers, nothing is showing up as not installed in device manager, i have also tried this on the onboard Nvidia controller as well with no luck

any more idea's

When you say it only sees 2 of the drives do you mean only two drives appear in Disk Management? If both arrays are working correctly you should only see two physical drives listed in Disk Management.
