What's the best free antivirus program for Vista out there? :cool:

Just installed Avast on RC2 64 bit and all seems well.

avast supports 32bit and 64bit.

AVG beta I believe supports x64 as well.

AVG wouldn't run after upgrading to RC2. I reinstalled the anti virus programme and it still wouldn't run. I am now running Avast with no problems

(I am sure AVG will release an update soon)

running Avast 4.7 Home with Vista RC1 here - no problems

another vote for Avast here, be sure to turn off it's sounds though as they can get annoying.

I am not sure if it is AVG not running or Vista security centre not recognising it is running?

I did disable security centre, and it still wouldn't run?
