Vista basic & Small business server 03

Hi,

I'm looking at getting a couple of PC for work, mainly for CAD, the hardware is all specced up but i was wondering would there be any problems networking Vista basic up to SBS 2003?

The reason i ask is that we have someone to maintain our network remotely, they say we would need Vista business or ultimate, i just wanted to know if there are talking out of their exit hole as i really do wonder how skillfull they are going on past experience!

Vista basic can't join a domain so yes he is correct. Business or ultimate would be the only versions that would be suitable. Business is your best bet
