Vista blank screen after using mstsc ?

Hi

Has anyone experienced this...

After connecting to my work vista machine from my home XP SP2 machine (which works fine), I am faced with a black screen with a mouse cursor when I get back to working locally on my Vista machine. Forcing me to hard reboot it. Not good.

Does the Vista PC have an ATI video card?

NVidia Geforce 6150 onboard an Asus A8N-VM Motherboard.

It is set as dual screen if that makes a difference....

Imagine it's something to do with the dual screen have you tried it singularly?

Works perfectly here though I only have a single display - try the above and let us know how you get on.

I'm guessing as much, I do have dual display and the latest version of Ultramon.

In XP Ultramon handled dual screen very well, bringing any open apps on the 2nd screen onto the first.
I notice under Vista, apps open on the 2nd screen are stuck over there.
