I've left the vista one running for 10+ hours with no end in sight, just wonder what it's actually doing.
I dont think thats it (entirely): I run the Auslogics defrag, it does it in about an hour, then I run it again after, it takes about 2 minutes because the drive is already defragged. Then I ran the vista Defrag and left it for 2 hours still defragging, it's doing something because the drive is chugging away.As far as I know Vista defrag runs as a very low priority process and is designed to run unnoticed in the background. I assume this program completes the defrag in the fastest time possible, which is why you're seeing a massive difference.

Just got Vista 64...Is there any great defrag out there? I used to have Diskeeper on my XP hard drive, it defragged when fragmations occured. Appeared to do a great job - might just go with that again or is there anything similar?
