CAN A MOD EDIT THE TITLE, being a tit i missed the R from driver :rolleyes:

Right guys,

Were all getting Vista mad at the moment by the sounds of things,

so thought i would start a thread for DRIVER INFO only.

I dont want any vista discussion as such, just info on where you found Vista Drivers and what version they were,

I need to find a decent ATI Cat driver for vista, their beta 2 cat is old and not good for wow on vista.

those old drivers work fine here for hl2 and flatout2. that's with the pre-rc1 build 5536.

unfortunately i don't have many games to test. i'll update this post if pes5 and gta:sa work ok.

What AVs are you lot using? I tried Nod32 but it wont install, comes up with an error.

AVG 7.1 working fine here with Vista 5536

Ive tried this on Vista Pre-RC1 and it doesnt like my 7800GT one bit. I cant seen anything when it boots into windows.. just a blank screen

does vista come with drivers for nvidia?

or am I going to have to have vista ready drivers on a CD for installation?

how about using this thread to just post drivers that arent available on the manufacturers websites, otherwise it'd just be easier to go there than search through this thread.

Yes it does come with nvidia drivers already on it. Not sure it they detect the 7900 series though!

As said dude, it will have some drivers for the nvidiots

but as to if they will work with the 7900...............

i guess you will have to try it an see.

Im still having problems with wow and my ati x1900xt, from the log on screen onwards if playing in full screen it looks as if the card is broken lol. But if i set the game to run window'd its all cool.

All other games are fine. so dont know if its a ms or ati driver issue.

The nvidia driver already on it is so bad! CS Source i use to get 100fps in the video stress test 1680x1050 4xAA 16xAF all high/max i know get... 24

In 5536 it picks up all but 1 part of my Nova-T (PCI). I've been able to get it working by using the MCE2005 drivers from Hauppague, but playback is jumpy. Anyone had much luck with a TV Card?
