Vista install BSOD

I have set my ram volts to 1.9 as sticker on ram suggests. after this im going to try it with one hard drive.

its just annoying as i had vista installed, and now I'm struggling to get it reinstalled.

its going ok so far got past the country and language settings

seams like setting the ram to 1.9volts has helped, i just get to which drive to install it on and it would not let me, need some drives...

I can now get it too boot stable into the vista install program,

but when asked which hardrive i want to install it on, it wont let me install it on one.

my first thought was drives, but it dont seam to like any i am throwing at it.

does anybody know where a drive for the IRC9R chip can be found, i have tried downloading it of the ASUS website but that don't seem to work

First of all download the "RAID/AHCI Software - Intel® Matrix Storage Manager" from HERE, make shure you save the file to your C:\ drive and rename the file to iata_enu.exe, now create a folder on your C:\ drive named ICH, once tyou have done that, click start and type "cmd" in the Vista search field or in the run box if you are using XP and press enter, now type the below command line into the "cmd" window and press enter.

c:\iata_enu.exe -a -a -pc:\ICH

When you have done this, copy all the file from the ICH folder to a USB flash drive or CD ROM, or a floppy if they will fit on a floppy, you now have a driver disk which contains the drivers for the ICH9R.

Hope this helps!
