Vista Install problem

Well i thought i'd post this here, as i'm not too sure what area isn't working exactly

Basically ive just built a new pc with the following spec (quite chuffed tbh as it was my first build).

Asus P5N-E SLI Motherboard
Q6600 Quad Core
BFG 8800GTS OC2 640mb
Western Digital Caviar 3200 AAKS 320mb SATA HDD
2GB GeIL 6400
Vista 64bit Premium

Anyway the pc itself works absolutely fine, boots into the bios nice and neatly, no problems.

Anyway the problem comes when i go to boot up vista, which goes into the setup fine, until it reaches the part where it needs to actually install it onto a hard drive, and annoyingly the above hard drive isn't detected at all which is a bit of a pain. Im a bit of a noob when it comes to this stuff lol, so i don't know whats causing the hard drive not to be recognised, ive double checked all of the cables and they are in securely.

I did as instructed in the booklet that came with the motherboard, and turned on the sata connectors within the bios

Any help would be appreciated, as im dying to get this beast churning through some games etc. :)
