Hello all.

Trying to install vista on a new machine with a M2N-SLI Deluxe, 2GB Ram and 8800GT. I have a USB Logitec Mouse and standard keyboard attached.

Basically i go into the bios and tell it to boot from DVD drive, it boots from DVD fine and i enter language then product key fine, it does it's thing and then after the first reboot i leave it alone (as in dont click any key to boot from dvd again) but it just gives an error saying windows didnt load successfully and gives safe mode options, but cant go any further than this.

Is there a common problem that im missing here ?

Motherboard bios is at 1102 but i assume to get to 1320 i need a floppy disk but having read the site this update seems unrelated to vista ? I have aldo tried another DVD and both result in this problem.

I also attach this screen showing exactly where install gets to.

Hello again. just got round to trying this.

I have put all of the drivers on a usb stick and when i click on load drivers it lists the network driver, pci driver and sata ide drvier, i click each one and then next as i have assumed you have to load each one individually ?

Also not sure if this is being done right as they are nvraid.inf files not .ini ?

Anyway i then remove the usb stick and click continue and vista does indeed extract the file much more slowly than before but it still dosent work :( its a £800 pound brick atm.
