Vista Internet Problem

ok, so i've got a new install of Vista64 on my new system. i plug in my ethernet cable to connect to my broadband and it comes up in network management:

Jason---->Router--x-->Internet

so its connecting to the router and i can see the other PC hooked up to the router too. but it wont connect to the internet. not too sure what i'm doing wrong? :confused:

update. im now getting:

jason---->router---->internet

but clicking on the IE doesnt connect me still?

back to the first post again. it was lying and just trying to get me excited.

Can you go to the settings page of your router, 192.168.x.xxx, whatever it is for your router and check all is good in there?

Output from (start, then cmd in the search box) ipconfig /all would be useful too.
