New donation machine received.

Trying to stop a network boot but can't find out where its booting from.

Realtek RTL8110SC, boot disabled in bios.

Never used vista before, checked config.nt and autoexec.nt nothing in there relating to boot.

Thought Realtek had there own boot utility but can't find it.

Any help or ideas appreciated.

Just one. Onboard.

Does eventually get through the network boot sequence but fails and just slows boot so want to remove it.

you say you've disabled it in the bios so i'm not sure why it's doing that - but you should be able to skip it with a key press? try "esc".

the only other thing i can suggest is a full bios reset.

Yeah, you can esc it to skip it, but its a donation machine (Charity) so dont really want to leave it like that if I can get rid.

Definatley disbaled in bios. Think its a Realtek Utility doin it. Found Ctrl F10 is mean to start it on some Realtek hardware but dont see the option after first post.

No network in boot order, i already removed it. HD and CD only. it was listed 3rd anyway so shouldnt have been a problem.
