The reality is they can charge what they like, since they have no other competition.

Jeez, Im a systems analyst working with all versions of windows and other MS products on a daily basis Microsoft are not squeaky clean and do sometimes sell shonky software, Same thing as calling car retailers stealers (dealers) etc seriously now, was it worth moaning over oneword in jest?stickroad said:

Yup - because when you use the words "Microshaft", "M$", Micro$oft" and the various other "leet" words all you do is put yourself over as sounding like a 12 year old.
Nobody is saying that MS are "clean" or any such thing but using childish mis-spellings of their name makes you sound childish.
It all just depends on how seriously you want to be taken.
Personally (and from other threads, others too) just don't take any such post seriously where the "cool" way of using the MS name is used.
