I have an issue with DNS and Vista. From a clean boot, if I run a Bit torrent client or VOIP or any kind of p2p software, after about 5 hours I will lose the ability to browse the web, use outlook, MSN etc. I have found that already connected IPs will stay connected (through bit torrent) and I can even ping google and my cable modem. Vista just will not resolve and DNS. I have tried disabling IPv6, only using 5 half open connections, disabling QOS. Nothing seemed to help. The only way to restore access to the web, was to reboot. Resetting NICs didnt help, repair IP didnt help, had a valid ip anyway, release renew, no good. Then finally, I stumbled upon the answer. I went into "Services" and restarted "Network Connectivity" a few times which restored my access.

Is anyone else experincing this problem? Does the above help?
