Vista Pre-RC1 download

downloading now in work but its slow, just hope it downloads intime before they turn it off. 5hrs remaining :(, wish i was at home.
 
Cheers, but silly question, do I just use my public beta 2 key to install this? or is this version not for the public?
 
Is there any other (legal) way to download this from that site without using their download manager? It doesn't like proxies and as I'm at work I won't be able to download it until tonight.

Think this will be up until actual RC1 is out, dont see why they would take it back down

the site says that it will stay open up to the 100,000th person then it will close...

don't think I'll get home in time! :(

Don't worry about it too much, the real RC1 (5552 or 5568 or similar) should be out in a week or so.
 
There doesn't appear to be mention of any key in that web page so it could be that this is a keyless version.

Anyroad, I am waiting now for the RC1 x64 version. Got this 32-bit one at the weekend and yes, it's very nice.

same for me, it will be interesting to see how much it screws things up just by going x64. Im just hoping we see everyone release RC1 x64 drivers because at the moment i have no real need to install xp on my 50gig partition.

I was going to but havent got round to it yet, im running solely on vista for now, only current issues are my nebula tv card, get fuzzy sound and no picture but that is still an improvement from beta2, drivers wouldnt even pick up the card in the software. And the beta 2 nvidia drivers dont work, just give a blank screen, company of heroes works fine with supplied drivers,
Creatives sound drivers appear to be fine
