vista processor speed display ?

in the system view my cpu speed is being reported as 2.33ghz which is incorrect its actually running at 3.030 ghz ? has anyone else noticed this ?

and my WEI score is 5.4 due to my hard drive

in vista it says 2591.8mhz ill reboot in xp again and post that result ......

edit .....

and in xp cpuz says 3024.1

and yeah my bad lol @Speed in first post ill edit now lol

but the reports dont match

i just googled about that and it seems more inline with laptops (excuse my ignorance first intel system) its to do with power consumption and performance options from what i just read ?
So ive changed my power options to performance is there anything else which will alter the speed and also why is there a difference in cpuz on xp to vista and between vista own report to cpuz ?

ok update -

since changing power options cpuz now reports the speed correctly in vista as 3024mhz
the vista speed detection is still wrong at 2.330mhz though
