Iam trying to install vista premium 64 for the first time on to two Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB drives in raid 0. I have enabled raid in my bios and both hard drives shown up in the bios. I also have got the correct driver on a usb pen drive. The driver installs correctly via using the load driver. But when i click new icon there is no option to select what raid setting etc. Also on the where do you want to install screen only one disc is showing, is this correct? What am i doing wrong?

you've gotta setup the raid before the windows startup, it'll either be in the bios, or a screen just after the bios

which raid controller do you have? (or motherboard)

i'm assuming it uses the ich9r (my ds3r does)

-you 100% sure it supports raid? (i've not checked the model)

to get the raid bios screen, i had to enable raid in the bios, then it prompted me to press ctrl + I after the main bios screen i think

Thanks for the help bledd , i think i got it sorted. Im an idiot and had the drives plugged in to the yellow sata sockets when they had to be in the purple ones :D

I have a new problem on the next step where it says Copying windows files 0% athough it just stays at 0%. The ... keep going but never the % ?
