Vista RC2 Released

just downloaded mine and i get an error trying to run the iso, saying that the autorun is either missing or corrupt.

is it just my d/load fooked or is it the same for everyone?

Burn the iso to dvd disk ? then run the install from dvd disk

Iv'e been looking around for this but I'm guessin its gunna be just the RC1 key. Give it a go.

You can install them but on some applications theres features missing or things won't work e.t.c.

Most 32bit applications will work. Winamp does.

Theres some that the program installer wont let you install it. Like Itunes 6.0.5 i think it is

6.0.4 will and 7/7.1 will as well.


Avg wont, unless you get the beta.

sorry, i should have said that i already have done. I have tried the image on another pc just to make sure and got the same error.

What i need to know is, is it the same error for everyone?

mines 54% downloading and 1 hour to go so I'll update you once its downloaded as I'll be installing it.

Hope the iso isnt borked.

Is this the only place to download from? Are there any mirror sites?

My download is absolutely crawling at about 16 KB/s on a 2 MB connection, using 'download accelerator plus'. I couldn't get their download accelerator to install.

Also - re the serial key - if it is the same as RC1, where do you get this from? Can you still get this key?

Just use the RC1 keys

Using their downloader, I'm currently maxing at 213kb/s.
 
I got their downloader to work in the end, but it's just as slow. And Betanews is slow as well.

It must be a Chinese thing :( 24% done, 1.5 days remaining :mad:
