Vista RC2 Released

Not much difference. Installed it without a problem. I'm on it now.

One thing different is when it detects how good your pc is at the start along with many graphics enhancements.

The beta evaluation has changed on the desktop to

Windows Vista (TM) RC 2
Evaluation copy, Build 5744

Still browsing to see anything different. Alough feels a lot stabler now than RC1.
 
Also, Yes - Use the serial you got with RC1.

And doran1801 my disk is fine, you might have a corrupt download. Try to finalize the download again if you used the downloader from Microsoft.

thanks, have 50 mins left to complete. What did you use to burn and at what speed? i have used dvd decrypter and nero 7 at 2x
 
Just noticed they have revamped lots of icons and many icons have changed.

I used nero 7 (latest version) I burned at 12x speed and everything seems perfect.
 
:) YEESSSSSSS They fixed the flash issue where you couldn't open links in IE7 when using a flash page :D :D
 
20 mins left, finnaly gonna take the plunge and give it a whirl, deffo going to make an image of my PC first just in case it all goes pete tong.

looks like im going to have to say goodbye to all my xbox360 extender stuff, shame

Mines a 2GB EasyDisk.

xbox stuff works as far as I know.

That I didn't know, Well we need someone with a 360 in the UK to test with RC2.
