Vista running two firewalls?

Hi,
I had a trial version of McAfee security suite on my pc when it arrived so I've uninstalled this and am now using NOD32.

When I go into security centre Windows is telling me that both Windows Firewall and McAfee personal Firewall are running? Why is this and how can I stop the McAfee one if I cannot find anything to suggest it even exists on the machine anymore?

I noticed that problem when I got my Dell M1330; uninstalled MacAfee immediately, but Windows still thought it was there. Ended up doing a clean install of Vista; not just for that reason, but to clear all the other crap they pre-install anyway.

You could always try the McAfee removal tool to get rid of any last traces, http://service.mcafee.com/FAQDocument.aspx?id=107083&lc=4105

I had something similar with eSet Security Suite, installed it and it left the windows firewall enable, I've just disabled the windows firewall as I assumed you only need 1 but why would eSet leave it enabled?
