just trying to install vista 32bit onto a sata300 maxtor but wen on the 'where do you want to install windows?' screen i can only see my secondary sata150 drive, its working and is recognised in the bios. any ideas?

its in a shuttle sg33g5 if thats any help

actually after reading the 'sataII explained'thread i decided iwont get any speed increase so installed onto the 150

WIth vista I find having only the drive you want to install to plugged in is best then plug in the rest after installation.
