Vista Score

jbloggs, I thought it may have something to do with that. I desperately wanted a hardware controller when building my machine, yet the machine was over budget as it was.

Perhaps I'll do it in the future, and ghost my install over.

Just over 30 seconds from the moment the scroller appears.

Add another 5-10 seconds between last Bios Screen (IDE Controller), but I don't know if that's vista or not.

Edit: These figures are after a cleanup of services and startup items, loosely looking at online vista/boot optimisation guides. I've not substituted any "nice" bits for this, however.

On another note, I retested, and got 5.9 for the HD.
