Vista Ultimate 32 Loading Problems

Sorry if this has been posted before!! Does anyone experience problems with ultimate loading up? When booting up vista it stays at the loading screen with the bar and does not go any further! sometimes it loads first time or it may take several resets!!! I know i have a oc system but it happens on stock as well. At first i thought it was a temporary glitch but now this glitch is starting to p*** me off! Any ideas?

Have you ran diagnostics on the RAM and the HDD? That would be the first place to start. Also does it boot into safe mode any quicker? If it does it is likely to be a driver problem.

I have just changed my ram to ocz and it still does the same!! i have checked the HDD for errors using windows and no errors.. boots into safe mode but slower than normal boot! :confused:

Is the RAM getting the right voltage. On my board for example I have to increase the voltage from 1.8v default to 2.1 in order for the system to work properly. It could also be an optical drive error. At this stage I am leaning towards hardware rather than software causing the problem.
BTW why 32 bit with 4GB RAM?

I have tried upping the voltage to the memory and still no change!! :confused:

4gb just in case i upgrade to 64!!

Have you tried
A Different copy of Vista
B Different DVD sdrive
