I've just looked at my Vista update history and I see a load of updates have failed, some classed as important.

Thing is, Vista is not offering them any more. When I click see all available updates, nothing appears.

Any ideas how I can get the others to download and install again?

Vista HP

The updates are:

Actually, I think its because I the PC went off to update for windows had been activated. I just tried to manually install one of them and my PC said WGA was not even installed. Perhaps this will kick the rest of them off.

EDIT: If I try and install one of them (although I havent tried all of them), it says. File not found, even though I've downloaded it.

I you want to add the updates again that failed, go to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and delete the files in there.

Run Windows Update again and you should get the updates that failed to install a second time.

I had to do it when I had difficulty installing a Bluetooth driver via the update.

Edit: You may have to either re-boot and delete the files or run in safe mode. If you have launched Windows Update since the PC has been powered on, you will have to do either of the 2.
