VISTA64 ultimate and bf2

Does anyone run this os and play bf2.reason i ask is im having a system built and might change it back to xp pro if its going to cause to much hassle.

Can't asnwer for BF2 but BF2142 runs perfectly for me under Vista x64.

Just spoke to my builders and there having probs running games on vista so ill stick with xp pro for now.

It's 100% fine, you just need to select the "run as admin" option in properties of the shortcut. So that Punkbuster has rights to the OS.

I'm not familiar with it myself but from what i've read about punkbuster i would have thought it was the last bit of software on earth that you'd want to allow to access the OS!!??

Well if you want to be able to play the game you need to have punkbuster running. However there are no issues with it anyway, so giving it admin access isn't an issue at all.

BF2 works fine on my Vista x64 Ultimate mowchine. Just ensure it runs as Admin and its all good - oh, and update PB.
