visual basics 6

VB6 was taught to me in highscool at higher/advanced higher level. Unfortunately the teacher cant teach what he wants to. I did bother higher and advanced higher computer and maths.

ALL the computing, software engineering, web design etc etc courses for every uni wanted maths. None of them cared about computing. And when i went to uni. the first 2 years were just higher and advanced higher all over again but with more up to date software, java C# rather than VB6 lol.

That said my teacher kept disks of VB6 for us. Its probably better to just learn another language from scratch. Most school/collage level stuff is so basic you could start from scratch and keep pace with the rest of the class using VB6..
 
I taught VB6 as a way of introducing programming to FE students in 2001 and that was because the college had the software and did not have VB.NET which was being introduced as an "object oriented" programme.
