I'm looking to create a little something for someone, which involves a fair amount of text, with some animated gifs. (nothing dodgy hiraki kusugi. :p )

Whats the most visually appealing way I can present this? Got limited resources (windows 8 machine with office + GIMP).

So far my only way is to stick it all in work, and save as a html file, which collates it all nicely and the gifs work. However it's not particularly visually appealing.

Any solutions?

I tried downloading one of those flip page programs, but they are all cons and require purchases to actually make it useable.

Thanks!

Method of presentation surely depends on how you intend to distribute this 'something'?

Paper? Post a disc? Email a link? Email a file?

Powerpoint can work well however some versions don't support GIFS (As I discovered when trying to present on a Mac)

Some video production suites support GIFS but they won't be free.

Gah, poorly phrased.

It's a personal thing, which will be emailed to someone. Basically it's some paragraphs (separated by pages) with some gifs.

At the moment word isn't looking "too" bad, but presentation is everything.

Powerpoint is a bit too formal looking.

Powerpoint with an attractive scantily clad lady as the background. Oh and another more attractive lady delivering the presentation.

That's who it's for, not what is on it...

Plus WordArt and glittery text. They are crucial!

Wordart, that's what it's called! Definitely going for that massive orange slanted one. :D
