Vive delivery dates

And if you are entering your order number but still not getting a result, call 020 3684 5000, that's the technical support line, but they should be able to transfer you, or at least give you another number. When I called on Saturday they just put a note on my account and I got a call back on Monday.

Thanks for the response guys, I've entered my number about eight times now. Nothing back on any of them.
I gave their technical support line a number and he told me he didn't have a number for the sales team and couldn't confirm when I will be receiving it. Exactly the same response I got when I ordered two by mistake and it took ages to cancel one of them. I don't know why I'm worried, they've had my money for a while yet and I ordered it within five minutes of the sales going live. I'd just like some confirmation from them.

Looks like the UK had better 1st batch stock levels (relative) compared to some other regions, or less than expected demand I guess :P

US batch 1 seems to be first 7 minutes only (based on reddit info!)

2 weeks to go, I feel the pressure to order an overpriced 980ti building daily lol

I think (or hope) it's more to do with the fact the HTC store wouldn't recognise that the UK was a place that existed at first! At least that was the case for me, so I am guessing others had the same issue, which led to most order not going through until 15:05 at least!

Edit - AUS are getting their shipping notifications. Batch 1 range from 5th to the 8th so far! I will wait to see what day mine is arriving and then take a few days off from there I think:)

I got my order in at around that time, but confirmation email didn't come through until 15:08:) Did your confirmation come through at 15:03? Also what time did you get your pre order email on the 26th?

Got my pre-order email at:

  • 26 March 2016 at 18:01

Can't be sure on the order confirmation one, Gmail says 14:19 :D

I'm in batch 1 though, based on that earlier support link.

If you got yours in at around that time, even with the confirmation at 15:08, I'm pretty confident you will be in the first batch.

I'm not sure if the method I mentioned in post 16 still works, but that was a way of finding out your batch for delivery.

Tracking info. is apparently starting to drip through, looks like Australian customers first. They also seemed to be the first to have their cards charged. Not sure if that's because HTC are working alphabetically or logistically.

I'm going to say that I'll be surprised even being in wave 1 if I get my Vive next Tuesday, I think the first wave is realistically going to be delivered in stages across the first couple of weeks in April.

It's because Australia are ahead of anybody else time wise mate... Simple as that.
