Hi

Just set up a Vlan using my draytek 2860 using the following setup

192.168.1.1 network
10.0.0.1 network

I cant ping devices from one network to another which is what i want but if am on the 10.0.0.1 network i can still view the router via 192.168.1.1 and can ping it.

Is that normal?

Thanks

The vlans should be separate and not allow traffic between them, what you could do is add the 10.0.0.1 as an additional network setting on the PC you wish to access that network with.

If you don't want 10.0.0.x to be able to access the Draytek web management you can tweak the settings in System Maintenance >> Management to block it.

If you're using port based vlans then you don't need to worry about tagging.

Disable management access apart from LAN1 here:-

Actually thinking about it you can disable LAN Access Control completely as LAN1 should always have access whatever you set.
