VM issues. [evening of 17th]

ha, I was going crazy last night trying to fix it.... Ebay and RyanAir for me.... Rebooted the "super"hub and lost all connection for ages... then eventually it came back up :P

Thanks for posting this

Yep I had that problem - I went to cableforums.net which are usually pretty good and they mentioned the problem. I felt they dealt with the problem pretty darn quickly. But considering it was a pretty big outage, I'm hardly surprised :p

Mines still broken this morning. Certain hosts on speedtest.net don't work and when I find one that does my 50mb is running at 10mb.

Anyone else?

Mine has been much worse than usual with hardly any connection last night. Even the TiVo box stopped working and rebooted itself numerous times.
Thank goodness for Freesat as a backup!

thank god for that was getting a bit worried last night, doesn't help when you eventually get through to the "support" centre and they tell you there not aware of any issues.

run a speedtest on speedtest.net as instructed and my 30mb comes back as 14.5mb, so he says run it again, 30mb, "oh well that looks ok now then" wtf ?

Seems to be ok here, I'm getting quite a good ping and 32mb on my 30mb connection. Not found any sites today that don't work, so hopefully all good for me.

Was borked last night though, like everyone.

Mine was not borked at all, at least from 7pm when I got home everything was normal. But I use opendns if that makes a difference

My 50Mb has been down today but it's back now.
But the funny thing is I now have 5 download channels, 4 at 0.5 dnmv and the fifth channel is 42.7

Just called up VM, they gave me £5 off my next bill for my downtime of 4 hours. 12-2am and 5-7pm.

Called VM, said an engineer had to be called out :p

Unplugged everything and plugged it back in again, works fine.

Will see what it's like tomorrow before cancelling the engineer.

I couldn't access my e-mail (hotmail) yesterday afternoon, on and off, for a period of time. I was going to create a thread, but thought... 'I'll probably just get a bunch of replies saying, fine here'.
