Hey,
I have just installed VM Server on to a fresh install of Vista 64, with the intention of creating two VMs each running a install of Linux for folding.
However I'm having some major difficulties, after installing VM Server I get prompted to reboot my system and I do. However upon restarting I check to see if the services are all running and started (which they are), although I get the following when trying to click on the VM Server Homepage.
I looked under Vista's network options and it showed that the VM network adaptors had limited connectivity, is this normal?
Then when I went into the IPv4 options the DNS settings are blank, along with the the Default gateway.
I have tried reinstalling through the locked admin account whilst running it with admin privileges and it still doesn't work :/
I think it's something to do with the 'VMwareSeverWebAccess' Service, as when 'Configure Tomcat' is run I get the following error evening though the service is started and running according to Services.msc
Has anyone got any suggestions.
Cheers
