VM Superhub connection problems

Last night my son was getting high ping spikes and as been for a while so he rebooted the superhub but we had no internet connection after.

It took resetting to factory default, unplugging all network connections and rebooting 5 more times before we got an internet connection. However we've lost it again this morning :(

We also have a Tivo box that's working fine, we're on 100mb btw.

Any ideas?
 
have you checked service status page to see if theres a fault in your area? Have you tried putting it in modem only mode and see if you can connect ok?

Ha ha! My Superhub (in modem mode) refused to connect over the weekend. Status page said no problems in our area but when after ~12 hours of non-connect I rang up 150 was told there was a "known area fault" which they had engineers already working on ... but it could take upto 5 days to fix! Anyway, modem reconnected a few hours later and been fine since then.

So, not sure I believe either the status page or what 150 told me!
 
I'm ar work atm but my son just txt me to say it's back on again! It does sound like a local problem, i'll take another look tonight.
