Yep Im one of those out of service at the moment - thought Id see how good WnW connected to my laptop is - working quite fast for now...

Shame most people affected wont see your 'useful' post ;)

They will because their connection should be intermittent - so they'll be back on soon after the disconnect.
 
Unfortunately mine and a couple of friends isnt - been offline for at least an hour now and rebooted about 6 times without any lock. Just lost sync again as we speak...

I'm in Essex (Basildon Area) and by BB went down for about 15 to 20 mins then came back up again after a modem & router re-boot.

Don't trust the lights on the modem too much, many a time after some problems they have indicated all is OK, but the router cannot get an IP address, so I found the best was to keep powering down and up again the modem every so often.

Still offline here, have been for about 6 hours now. Worst outage i've ever had in 6 years, i'll let them off i think!

Got my phone connected to my computer to surf, my house isn't in a good area though, if i were at my girlfriends i could get HSDPA there which is awesomely quick
 
Mine went off at half 9 last night and came back sometime during the morning hours. I phoned business support and was told a national outage had occurred and they were working on it but didn't know the cause.

Pretty annoyed but understandable, nothing is rock solid! after all, 1 night of downtime for 98 days of solid uptime is pretty impressive I'd say :p not that I'm expecting a night of downtime every 98 days mind.

Mine has been down since before 10pm last night too, it's not intermittent but more it's been up once all night!

W'n'W is working okay at the mo, but it's a hell of a lot slower than my 20mb cable and my other laptop/pcs can't connect out :(

What are the chances VM will compensate us for loss of service? :p Unlikely..
