VMware Esxi 4.1.0 Problem

yes i had tried the changes to syslinux.cfg and it didnt solve anything :(

i had seen that thread and looked at but the upgrading route looked waaaaayyy to complicated for me, but it looks as if it may be my only option :/

i have looked at a few guides but they all look so complicated....

can anyone give me a step by step guide/know of i good noob proof guide to upgrade?

Thats the same drive that came out of my 1850 :)
Have you got any pictures of your 2850? Its not the conventional ide connector, its slightly smaller. It wont be on the motherboar, more likely be on the hard drives backplane card somewhere :)

Edit scrap that Dell changed them completely between servers :)
I'll see if i can find out what connector they use

cheers, have just bought a 2850 drive with the connector card on it for £9.75 bargain xD

should be here within a few days.....hopefully that fixes the problem(s) :o
