I want to start using Linux and am going to use VMware. What software do I need from them as I want to run them simultaneously as I believe this is what VMware does.

Any links to articles etc would be good as well!

Get the free VMWare Server.

Yup vmware server, you need to register to get as many serial numbers as you want, a couple is usually loads. Install it then get holf of a copy of ubuntu live cd or similar, linux runs great from mware with as little as 512mb memory and 99% of hardware doesnt even need tweaking to get the best out of it, wireless adapters are seen as normal wired so you dont even have to set up wep keys etc where you would if it was a straight install without windows.
